India's show at CWG

India clinched three medals in the 1958 edition of the Commonwealth Games in which they bagged two gold medals and a silver medal and finished 8th in the standings.

CWG 1958 – Wales, Cardiff

India clinched 10 medals in the 1966 edition of the Commonwealth Games in which they bagged three gold, four silver and three bronze medals and finished 8th in the standings.

CWG 1966 - Jamaica, Kingston 

India clinched 12 medals in the 1970 edition of the Commonwealth Games in which they bagged five gold, four silver and four bronze medals and finished 6th in the standings.

CWG 1970 – Scotland, Edinburgh

India clinched 15 medals in the 1974 edition of the Commonwealth Games in which they bagged four gold, eight silver and three bronze medals to finish sixth in the standings.

CWG 1974 – New Zealand, Christchurch

Indian clinched 15 medals in the 1978 edition of the CWG in which they bagged five gold, four silver and six bronze to finish sixth in the standings.

Indian clinched 16 medals in the 1982 edition of the CWG in which they bagged five gold, eight silver and six bronze to finish sixth in the standings.

Indian clinched 32 medals in the 1990 edition of the CWG in which they bagged 13 gold, 8 silver and 11 bronze to finish fifth in the standings.

Indian clinched 24 medals in the 1994 edition of the CWG in which they bagged 6 gold, 11 silver and 7 bronze to finish sixth in the standings.

Indian clinched 25 medals in the 1998 edition of the CWG in which they bagged 7 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze to finish seventh in the standings.

Indian clinched 69 medals in the 2002 edition of the CWG in which they bagged 30 gold, 22 silver and 17 bronze to finish fourth in the standings.

Indian clinched 50 medals in the 2006 edition of the CWG in which they bagged 22 gold, 17 silver and 11 bronze to finish fourth in the standings.

CWG 2006 – Australia, Melbourne

Indian clinched 101 medals in the 2010 edition of the CWG in which they bagged 38 gold, 27 silver and 36 bronze to finish second in the standings.

CWG 2010 – India, New Delhi

Indian clinched 64 medals in the 2014 edition of the CWG in which they bagged 15 gold, 30 silver and 19 bronze to finish fifth in the standings.

CWG 2014 – Scotland, Glasgow

Indian clinched 66 medals in the 2018 edition of the CWG in which they bagged 26 gold, 20 silver and 20 bronze to finish third in the standings.
