Iss baar sau paar: India shine at Asian Games with 107 medals

October 6, 2023 India have crossed their target of 100 medals at the Asian Games 2023.
On Saturday morning they closed in on the target with 4 consecutive medals.
The Archers won two golds and one silver medal to his name.
The 100th medal of the tournament was won by the women's kabaddi team, who beat Chinese Taipei in the final.
Some events where India have excelled are hockey, shooting and athletics.
The badminton and equestrian teams also created history this time around.
There were medals for the squash team as well as the table tennis contingent.
This is well above the 70 medals that the Indian contingent won in Asian Games 2018.
