For the first time in South Africa, the U-19 Women's T20 World Cup will start from January 14, while the final will be played on January 29.



Here, we look at the power in the women's team India captained by Shafali Verma, let's have a look at each player of the team:-

The captain of team India is Shafali Verma. She has scored 1231 runs in 51 T20I matches for India.

18-year-old Shweta Sehrawat is the vice-captain of the women's team India. The dashing batter from Delhi will debut in the U-19 World Cup.

The main player of the Indian women's team, Richa Ghosh is the wicketkeeper. She has scored 427 runs in 30 T20I matches for India so far.


G Trisha is a right-handed batter and a leg-break bowler.

Coming from Madhya Pradesh, Soumya Tiwari is also a right-handed batter and spinner. She will debut in the U-19 World Cup.

Coming from Haryana, Sonia Mehdia is a right-handed batter who bowls spin.

Hurley Gala, from Mumbai. is an all rounder and would like to leave her mark with both ball and bat.

Rishita Basu, from Bengal, is included in the team as a backup wicketkeeper-batter.

Coming from Uttar Pradesh, 15-year-old Sonam is a left-arm spinner.

19-year-old Mannat Kashyap coming from Patiala is also a left arm spinner.

Archana Devi, from Uttar Prades, is a right arm off-spinner.

Coming from Uttar Pradesh, Parshvi Chopra is also a leg break spinner.

Coming from Bengal, Titas Sadhu is the right-arm fast bowler of Team India.

Falak Naaz is also a right arm fast bowler.

Shabnam MD is only 15 years old and this fast bowler is from Andhra Pradesh.
