Batters who bludgeoned century in 100th Test match

David Warner smoked a rollicking century (192 off 243 as of 74 overs) in his 100th Test match on Day 2 of the Boxing Day Test against South Africa on Tuesday (December 27). 




With this he became the 10th batter to crack a century in his 100th Test. Let's have a look at the list of other nine batters. 





Former England star batter Colin Cowdery belted century (104) in his 100th Test in 1968.

Legendary Pakistani batter Javed Miandad smashed ton (145) in his 100th Test in 1989.

Former star West Indies' batter Gordon Greenidge whacked century (149) in his 100th Test back in 1990

Former England star batter Alec Stewart hit ton (105) in his 100th Test in 2000.

Former Pakistan skipper Inzamam Ul Haq clobbered century (184) in his 100th Test in 2005.

Australia batting legend Ricky Ponting pummelled century (120 & 143) in his 100th Test in 2006.

Former South Africa captain Graeme Smith cracked century (131) in his 100th Test in 2012.

Former South Africa star batter Hashim Amla hit ton (134) in his 100th Test in 2017.

England's star batter Joe Root walloped century (218) in his 100th Test in 2021.
