The Test series between India and Australia is starting from February 9.

The first Test between the two will be played in Nagpur. If India wins three games in this series, then the team will reach the WTC final.

Here, we look at a list of Test batters who have scored the most runs against a bowler after 2000.

Sri Lanka's Mahela Jayawardene is fifth on this list, having scored 431 runs in 20 innings against Harbhajan Singh.

Former England skipper Joe Root has scored 431 runs in 24 innings against Ravindra Jadeja.

Australia's Steve Smith is third, having scored 519 runs in 40 innings against England's Stuart Broad.

Pujara has scored 521 runs in 28 innings against Nathan Lyon of Australia.


Former Sri Lanka skipper Sangakkara scored 531 runs in 22 innings against Pakistan's Saeed Ajmal.
