DC skipper David Warner has won the IPL with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016 as their skipper.

He has a special relationship with the city, having played seven seasons for them. Here is why:

Warner joined SRH in 2014 and went on to smash 528 runs in his first season with the team.

In 2015, he won his first Orange Cap after hitting 562 runs for his team.

2016 was his best season to date, smashing 848 runs, that too without a single ton as SRH won their only trophy.

In 2017, he won his second Orange Cap with 641 runs to his name.

2019 was another impressive season for Warner, with his 692 runs making him the only player with three Orange Caps.

The next two seasons were his final for SRH, with the Australian scoring 548 and 195 runs in IPL 2020 and 2021 respectively.
