India's bowling unit have been very successful in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 stage.

Leading the line in Jasprit Bumrah's absence is the veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who has three wickets in two games.

But Bhuvi is leading the list in one particular aspect of the tournament -- Dot balls.

Following his two maiden overs against the Netherlands, Bhuvi has now bowled a massive 73.81% of his balls as dot balls.

Of the 42 balls (seven overs) that he has bowled, Bhuvi has bowled 31 dot balls, i.e almost 5.1 of his overs were maidens!

He is way ahead of England's Mark Wood, who has 27 Dot balls in 48 balls bowled in the Super 12 stage.

Bangladesh's Hasan Mahmud is also on this list, equalling the number of Dot balls as Mark Wood on this list.

Having bowled just one Dot ball lesser than Mahmud and Wood is Pakistan's Haris Rauf, with 26 of 48 Dots to his name.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has 74 runs from 2 innings and expected to become the 4th Indian to score 100 or more runs against Proteas in T20 World Cup history.
