Five main reasons why India lost the 2nd T20I against Sri Lanka in Pune

Team India went down fighting to Sri Lanka by 16 runs in the second T20I in Pune on January 05. 

Axar Patel put up an all-round show with a spell of 2/24 with ball and a scintillating knock of 65 off 31 balls with bat. 

Let's take a look at five reasons why India lost the second T20I against Sri Lanka. 

Reason 1: 7 no-balls. Arshdeep Singh bowled five no-balls while Umran Malik and Shivam Mavi bowled one no-ball each. 

Reason 2: Dasun Shanaka.
Sri Lankan captain first scored 56 not out off 22 balls and then bagged two wickets in last over of the game. 

Reason 3: Indian top-order. Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi threw their wickets away cheaply. 

Reason 4: Kasun Rajitha. 
Sri Lankan ace pacer bowled an impeccable spell and finished with figures of 2/22 in 4 overs. 

Reason 5: Tripathi over Surya. Debutant Rahul Tripathi batted at No.3 instead of India's best batter Suryakumar Yadav in a steep run chase.
