Pele passed away on Friday, December 30, after a long battle with Cancer.

He was considered by many as the best player to feature in the FIFA World Cup; Here's why.

He is the youngest scorer, youngest hat-trick scorer, youngest final player and youngest final scorer in the history of the World Cup.

No player in the 92-year history of the tournament is yet to break all these records!

In 1970, he came out of international retirement to help Brazil conquer Mexico in the World Cup!

His performance in that tournament is considered by many as one of the greatest individual World Cups in football history.

Pele also had an unprecedented three assist in deciders: one against Sweden in 1958 and two against Italy in 1970.

Three minutes after Uwe Seeler, Pele became the  2nd man to score in 4 World Cups in 1970.
