Harry Brook scored 75 runs as England chased down the target of 251 runs.
During his knock, Brook created a new world record.
Brook became the fastest to 1,000 Test runs in terms of balls faced.
The England middle-order batter Brook completed 1,000 Test runs from 1,058 balls.
The previous record belonged to former New Zealand all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme who achieved it from 1,140 balls.
New Zealand's Tim Southee scored 1,000 Test runs in 1,167 balls.
Ben Duckett completed 1,000 Test runs in 1168 balls.
