The International Cricket Association (ICC) has announced the Future Tour Program (FTP) for the next five years under which all ICC tournaments are also included.

ICC's next FTP cycle

The 12 Members will play a total of 777 international matches – 173 Tests, 281 ODIs and 323 T20Is – in the 2023-2027 FTP cycle compared to the 694 in the current one.

Raining matches

These five-year cycles include two ICC Men's Test Championships, ICC tournaments and bilateral and three-nation series. While there will be a total of five ICC tournaments including T20, ODI and World Test Championship.

How many ICC tourneys?

The Indian men's team will play 138 bilateral International matches under the ICC's FTP in the next five years i.e. from May 2023 to April 2027.

India's FTP ride

Team India will play 38 Tests, 39 ODIs and 61 T20 matches in the next five years in which no bilateral series will be played against Pakistan.

Test's numbers

As per ICC's new FTP cycle, four ICC tournaments and two Asia Cups will be played in the next five years which will see 6 India-Pakistan's high-octane encounters.

Ind-Pak to extend rivalry

The Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia has become a series of five matches instead of four matches. India will take on Australia for a five-match Test series for the first time in 30 years.

Indian team will play five Tests in Australia in 2024-25 while in the year 2027, the Australian team will come to India to play a five-match Test series.

Team India will also go on a tour of England in the next five years. In the month of June 2025, India will play a 5-match Test series against England.
