India's star pacer Mohammed Siraj is the new World no.1 in ODIs as per the ICC's latest bowlers' Rankings.

Siraj snared five wickets in the first two ODIs against New Zealand to surge to no.1 spot in the ODIs.

At the start of 2023, Siraj was sitting at the 18th place in the ODI rankings and in mere 25 days rocketed to the summit of standings.

Siraj was ranked 18th before the series against Sri Lanka but right after that he took a massive jump in the ODI rankings.

Siraj took 9 wickets in the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka which boosted his ranking in ODIs.

After the series against Sri Lanka, Siraj jumped 15 places and went straight from 18th to the third position in the ODI rankings.

Siraj continued his heroics in the ODI series against New Zealand where he took a total of five wickets.

Right after the New Zealand series, which India won 3-0, Siraj grabbed the no.1 spot in ODI rankings with 729 rating points.
