Under Hardik Pandya's leadership, India trounced Sri Lanka by 91 runs in the third T20I at SCA Stadium in Rajkot to win the series 2-1.
It was a Suryakumar Yadav masterclass as the swashbuckling batter scored his third T20I century within six months.
Let's take a look at the five main reasons behind India's win in the 3rd T20I vs Sri Lanka in Rajkot
Reason 1: Suryakumar Yadav. The Mumbaikar whacked 112 not out in 51 balls with the help of seven fours and nine sixes.
Reason 2: Handy contributors. Shubman Gill (46 off 36), Rahul Tripathi (35 off 16) and Axar Patel (21 off 9) played their roles to perfection.
Reason 3: Arshdeep Singh. The left-arm seamer redeemed himself after a horrific game in Pune. Arshdeep bagged three wickets in 2.4 overs in Rajkot.
Reason 4: Yuzvendra Chahal. The leg-spinner once again proved his worth as he bagged two big wickets in three overs.
Reason 5: Hardik Pandya. The Indian skipper led the team brilliantly and rotated the bowling attack in a flawless fashion.
