The Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) Auction will take place on December 23 (Friday) as the fate of 405 players hangs in balance.

3. Ajinkya Rahane: Veteran Indian batter has entered the auction with a base price of Rs 50 lakh. 

4. Joe Root: Former England captain has entered the auction with a base price of Rs 1 crore. 

5. Rilee Rossouw: South Africa's T20 specialist has entered the auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore. 

6. Kane Williamson: Veteran New Zealand batter has entered the auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore.
