IPL 2023: MS Dhoni surpassed former teammate to become Chepauk legend

April 22, 2023 MS Dhoni led CSK to yet another win, this time over the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
He did not bat but was brilliant behind the wickets for his team.
This was Dhoni's 42nd victory in Chennai.
Since the IPL 2008, the legendary former India skipper has played the most IPL matches in Chennai.
He has played one more match than Suresh Raina, i.e 57 matches at the Chepauk.
In comparison, Suresh Raina has played 56 matches at the Chepauk.
Third on the list is R Ashwin, way before the leading pack at 41 matches.
Since IPL 2008, Dhoni has not played only 2 matches at Chennai.
