On Day 2 of the second Test match, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson scored a double century.

Williamson made many records to his name during his brilliant innings of 215 runs.

Williamson scored 215 runs in 296 balls with 23 fours and 2 sixes.

Williamson, who is part of the famous Fab-4, is now the second batter to score 6 200+ scores in Test cricket.

Virat Kohli is leading the list with seven Test double centuries.

Joe Root of England has 5 double centuries in Test cricket. And Steve Smith has 4.

During his innings, Williamson also crossed the 8,000-run mark in Test cricket.

He has now become the first batter for New Zealand to score more than 8000 runs in Test cricket.
