The 2022 FIFA World Cup begins on November 20 in Qatar, with the first match to be played between hosts Qatar and Ecuador.

Another Colombian is the versatile Juan Cuadrado  who has contributed with 5 assists in FIFA WC appearances

Distinguished midfielder is the German footballer Toni Kroos who notched up 4 assists in his three WC appearances and dominated the 2014 FIFA WC
