India's star pacer Jaydev Unadkat finally made a comeback for India in Tests after a long 12 years as he last played his last Test match back in 2010.

Let's have a look at the list of cricketers who returned to Test cricket after recording the longest gap streak between two Test matches. 

Star English cricketer Gareth Batty missed the most consecutive Tests between 2005 to 2016 before returning to cricket.

India's star pacer Jaydev missed 118 Test matches on the trot between 2010 to 2022 before finally returning to the fold on Thursday (December 22).

Former English cricketer Martin Bicknell missed 114 Test matches between 1993 to 2003 before making a return.

Former West Indies cricketer Floyd Reiffer missed 109 Test matches between 1999 to 2009 before his comeback.

Former Pakistani cricketer Younis Ahmed missed 104 Test matches between 1969 to 1987 before returning to cricket.

Former English cricketer Derek Shackleton missed 103 Test matches between 1951 to 1963 before his comeback.
