Here, we take a look at the most expensive players ever sold in the IPL auction.
Sam Curran is the most expensive player in IPL history after being bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 18.50 crore.
Cameron Green is now the second most expensive player after being bought by Mumbai Indians for a whopping Rs 17.50 crore.
England's Ben Stokes has jointly become the third most expensive player. He was taken by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 16.25 crore.
Chris Morris of South Africa has also been sold in IPL for Rs 16.25 crore. He was bought for this amount by Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021.
Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh is among the most expensive IPL players. He played for the erstwhile Delhi Daredevils in 2015 for Rs 16 crore.
Nicholas Pooran of West Indies was taken by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 16 crore. He is the most expensive wicket-keeper batsman ever.
Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins was brought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 15.50 crore for the 2020 season.
