Search on for replacement

Let's have a look at the list of players who can replace Jadeja in case he misses the all important T20 World Cup.

Focus on three players

2022 has gone well for Deepak Hooda so far. Hooda has scored 274 runs in 9 T20 Internationals. Hooda has scored runs in T20Is at an average of 54.4.

Deepak Hooda

Jadeja contributes to the team with both bowling and batting. If we talk about Hooda, his bowling may not the standard of Jadeja but he can run riot with the willow.

Top-notch Hooda

Axar Patel was included in the Asia Cup as Jadeja's replacement. In the second ODI against WI, Axar scored an unbeaten 64 which proves his mettle with the bat as well beside bowling.

Axar Patel

The spin duo of Axar and Yuzvendra Chahal can be seen playing in the T20 WC. In T20Is, Axar has played 25 matches and has taken 21 wickets. He has scored 147 runs too.

Axar's record

The year 2022 has not gone well for Deepak Chahar. Deepak could not even participate in IPL 2022 owing to injury. Deepak made a comeback against Zimbabwe, where he also performed well.

Deepak Chahar

T20 World Cup 2022 will be held in Australia and pitches there will aid the fast bowlers and Deepak's pace can prove to be effective there. He has taken 26 wickets in 20 T20Is.
