Many questioned Robert Lewandowski's move from Bayern Munich to Barcelona because of his age but the striker answered his critics.
Having lit up the Bundesliga for over a decade, it was the ability of Barcelona manager Xavi to convince the striker to join the Catalans.
The move was a surprising one because Barcelona paid almost 50 million despite being in major financial issues.
In his six matches for the Blaugrana, he has scored eight goals for Barcelona. The Polish striker also has two assists for his team.
Lewandowski also scored a hat-trick on his Champions League debut for Barcelona. The Catalan giants went on to win the match 5-1.
However, Lewandowski was well pocketed by his former club Bayern Munich, who went on to beat Barcelona 2-0 in their match.
Robert Lewandowski has made 100 league appearances since the start of 2019-20. In those 100 games, he's scored 118 goals.
The previous statistic is 32 goals more than any other player in the top five European leagues in that period (Ciro Immobile on 86).
Given the lack of La Liga trophies in the recent Barcelona cabinet, it will be interesting to see if their striker can lead his team to glory.
