Rohit Sharma's dwindling form vs top teams a big concern

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is captaining the Men in Blue at the T20 World Cup for the very first time.

But his batting form has been a major concern for the team, especially against the top sides.

In his last 12 innings with the bat, Rohit has only managed to score 179 runs for India.

His strike rate of 118 is also quite below average compared to his career T20I strike rate of 140.31.

His 43 against South Africa is the highest score against such opposition.

But this score was sandwiched between two ducks in the first and third match of India's home series vs South Africa.

India needs their captain to fire at the top especially with KL Rahul struggling at the other end.
