Bavuma has scored just 64 runs in 2022 at an average of 10.67. He missed few T20Is after getting injured. 

Last T20I fifty

Bavuma's last T20I fifty came against Ireland in July 2021. Bavuma is yet to score half-century against a prominent T20I side.

Bavuma has a career strike rate of 117.81. So far, he has scored 562 runs from 26 innings at an average of 24.43. Meanwhile, in-form Reeza Hendricks is warming the benches.

Bavuma also broke Sarfaraz Ahmed's record of least runs by a captain in a T20I series. Sarfaraz, Aaron Finch and Sikandar Raza have scored 4 runs each in a T20I series with minimum 3 innings.
