The love story of Rahul Dravid and Vijeta Pendharkar
Vijeta Pendharkar was born in 1976 and is 3 years younger to the cricketer, Rahul Dravid.
Her family stayed in Bangalore between 1968 and 1971, and that is when the friendship between the two families had begun.
Later, Rahul's father, Sharad had worked in Nagpur for a while and that is when the young Rahul Dravid and Vijeta Pendharkar had become good friends.
Their parents understood their children's wished and decided to turn get them married. Their wedding date was fixed and it was a love-cum-arranged marriage for Rahul and Vijeta.
Rahul Dravid and Vijeta Pendharkar's marriage date was fixed as May 4, 2003. It was a traditional Maharashtrian wedding on the outskirts of Bangalore.
Rahul and Vijeta welcomed their first son in 2005, whom they have named Samit Dravid and their second son, Anvay Dravid in 2009.
