The heavyweights defeated hosts South Africa by 19 runs in the final in Cape Town.
Beth Mooney hit a strong 74 off 53 balls that took the team's score to 156 runs.
In response, the Proteas were only able to score 127 runs losing 6 wickets in their first-ever WC final.
