The competition will be played between November 20 to December 18.

Being 40-years-old, Mexico goalkeeper Alfredo Talavera will be the oldest player to feature in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

39-year-old Atiba Hutchinson will be the second oldest player in the FIFA World Cup 2022. Hutchinson will feature for the Canadian team. 

Portugal's Pepe, who is 39-years-old, will be the third oldest player in the FIFA World Cup 2022. 

Japan's goalkeeper Eiji Kawashima is currently 39-years-old and will be one of the oldest players in Qatar. 

Brazil's Dani Alves is 39-years-old and will be the fifth oldest player in the FIFA World Cup 2022.
