Luka Doncic to Solidify Lakers' Structure

After building a legacy with the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic was shockingly offloaded by the franchise this past Sunday. The Mavericks sent Doncic to the Lakers and in return received Anthony Davis and Max Christie. While it will go down as a trade move that nobody saw coming, the decision may eventually improve the prospects of both teams. Frustrated with incessant inconsistency, the Lakers needed an incoming star player who could bolster their spirits once again. On the other hand, the Mavs severely struggled following Doncic's departure due to injury. By bringing Anthony Davis and Christie they have eliminated the factor of over-dependency on Doncic, but only time will tell whether it also fetch them positive results.
