OUT! TIMBER! Lockie Ferguson throughly deserved this wicket for being smart with his variations. Bowls the knuckle-ball on a length, on middle and off and angles it into the batter. Shivam Dube swipes across but does so a bit too ealry and gets beaten on the inside edge. The ball zips through the gap between the bat and the pad to knock the bails over. 

A huge mix-up and CSK get away with this one. Full and on middle and leg, MS Dhoni tucks it to mid-wicket and sets off for the run. Devon Conway responds too but both batters get stranded in the middle unsure of whether to complete the run or return back. They decide to cross and the fielder fails to hit the stumps at the batting end with the keeper not backing up. Devon Conway was nowhere in the frame as the ball went past the stumps.

Superb effort from the skipper Shreyas Iyer in the deep. On a length, on middle, Devon Conway swipes it across and gets it right in the gap between long on and deep mid-wicket. Iyer, from long on, moves across and just about manages to push the ball back in as he goes past the ropes. Keeps it down to just a single. The third umpire checks multiple angles to see if the foot was in contact with the boundary cushion but deems it a fair effort.

A loud appeal for LBW but is turned down by the umpire. Punjab Kings decide to challenge it. Full and angling into middle and leg, MS Dhoni looks to whip it off the pads but gets beaten. FOUR! Arshdeep Singh goes short for once and pays the price. Back of a length, angling into the left shoulder of the batter, MS Dhoni swivels and pulls it over short fine leg for a boundary. 

SIX! Too good a shot from MS Dhoni! Knew Arshdeep Singh would go back to fuller-length outside off and moves a bit to reach for it. Carves it over cover for a biggie. 

Arshdeep Singh persists with that full one, outside off, MS Dhoni steers it to deep third for one. 28 runs needed off the last over now.

OUT! CAUGHT! Yash Thakur bowls the worst possible ball to start the final over and manages to get the big wicket. This should be it for Punjab Kings! A low full toss, just down leg, MS Dhoni gets low and angles it straight to Yuzvendra Chahal at short fine leg. The ball goes hard at chest height and Yuzvendra Chahal pops it out but manages to grab it on the second attempt. 

Full, on middle, Vijay Shankar heaves it to deep mid-wicket for one.
