Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh registered an unbeaten alliance of 190 runs in 3rd T20I between India and Afghanistan.

India defeated Afghanistan in a double Super Over thriller in Bengaluru.

The 3rd T20I between India and Afghanistan at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will be remembered for numerous reasons. Be it the Rohit Sharma-Rinku Singh's carnage or Hitman's entry to unchartered territory, be it Virat Kohli's first-ever golden duck in T20Is or the first-ever double Super Over in international cricket, the match on January 17 will remain indelibly etched in history. Focusing on the belligerence of Rohit and Rinku, the two Indian batters dug India out of a deep hole of 22/4 and registered an unbeaten alliance of 190 runs that propelled the Men in Blue's total to 212/4 in 20 overs.

The Indian skipper, in particular, was delightful to watch. The 'Hitman' rolled back the clock and played a vintage knock en route becoming the first batter in history to rack up five centuries in T20Is. Rohit's knock was a tale of two halves. The first one saw the right-handed batter struggle immensely while the other half was all about the languid elegance.

In his pulverising knock of 121 not out off 69 balls, Rohit muscled 11 fours and eight sixes, providing numerous moments for fans to display their elation.

Rinku had the best seat in the house to watch the 'Hitman' show. As Rohit began to pick Afghanistan's bowling attack apart, Rinku enjoyed the remarkable display of stroke-making from the non-striker's end.

After the game ended, Rinku took to Instagram and used three words to beautifully explain what it's like to bat alongside the Indian skipper.

"Every moment in the middle with @rohitsharma45 bhaiya is a masterclass in learning, fun and entertainment. Series win vibes," Rinku wrote on his Instagram post.

Talking about Rinku's knock, the diminutive left-handed batter once again showed that he is more than just a 'finisher'. With his team in all sorts of trouble at 22/4, Rinku walked out with a sense of calm about himself. He took his time initially and then exploded in classic 'finisher Rinku' fashion, ending India's innings with three consecutive sixes. The Kolkata Knight Riders' batter remained unbeaten on 69 runs off 39 balls with the help of two fours and six sixes.
