Former India national cricket team captain, Virat Kohli, is leaving no stones unturned to regain his lost mojo. The charismatic batter on August 17 (Wednesday) shared a short clip on his social media accounts where he can be seen carrying out intensive training at the gym.
In a 30-second video, the 33-year-old can be seen lifting weights and carrying out mobility exercises. The video went viral as soon as the former No.1 ranked batter posted it on his social media accounts.
The stylish batter will return to international cricket in the upcoming Asia Cup after he was rested from the recently-concluded series against West Indies and three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe, which starts from tomorrow.
Kohli, who last scored an international hundred in November 2019, is enduring the lengthiest lean patch of his glittering career. In 2022, the former Royal Challengers Bangalore's captain has scored just 476 runs in 16 matches at a dismal average of 25.05 across formats.
The right-handed batter also struggled in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He finished with 341 runs in 16 matches and registered three golden ducks in the tournament.
India would hope that Kohli finds his best form at the earliest with two big-ticket ICC tournaments coming up in the near future.
