Ahead of high-octane Asia Cup's Super Four clash between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan on Sunday (September 4), the fitness freak Virat Kohli was seen training in a peculiar style during Team India's training session on Friday (September 2).
Kohli was spotted wearing a high-altitude mask in team's optional training session. These masks are usually used to enhance the breathing power and lung function.
Virat was seen taking short sprints with the mask on. He was watched by physical trainer Soham Desai.
The Indian team had an optional training session. The likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav all turned up. KL Rahul, who his struggling to get going in the tournament so far did not turn up for the optional training along with Avesh Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
The Indians trained at an enclosed area away from the media. Head Coach Rahul Dravid was seen having a long discussion with Virat Kohli. Hardik Pandya did bowl and bat as well in the nets. The all-rounder practiced along on Thursday at the ICC academy. Captain Rohit Sharma also had an extended batting session.
Meanwhile, riding on Mohammad Rizwan and Shadab Khan's blitzkrieg, Pakistan bulldozed Hong Kong to set date with arch-rivals India in the Asia Cup's Super Four clash on Sunday.
