Rohit Sharma breaks silence as India repeatedly accused of Champions Trophy 'advantage'.

India ODI and Test captain Rohit Sharma answered the critics who alleged that the Men in Blue are enjoying an undue 'advantage' in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025 by playing all their matches at the same venue. The Champions Trophy, which was supposed to take place in Pakistan, is taking place in a hybrid model where matches featuring India are taking place at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai, including the semifinal and the final if they qualify.

Australia captain Pat Cummins, former England skippers Nasser Hussain, Michael Atherton and South Africa's Rassie van der Dussen have all been sceptical of the 'advantage' factor that India seem to benefit from.

Team India are currently featuring against Australia in their semifinal clash where, coming to toss, skipper Rohit addressed critics who alleged India of 'advantage' in playing at the same venue.

"We've played three games here and each time it had something different in it. You can't really say this is how the pitch is going to play. The pitch keeps changing its nature," said Rohit at the toss.

Coming back to the clash, Australia captain Steve Smith won the toss and opted to bat in the semifinal clash of the marquee event in Dubai.
