India vs Australia Champions Trophy 2025 semifinal will take place on March 4.

India will lock horns against Australia for their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semifinal clash which is scheduled to take place on March 4 at the iconic Dubai International Stadium in Dubai. Cricketing legend Sunil Gavaskar advised Rohit Sharma-led India to go for a chase against Australia.

He explained that Australia will be lacking in their spin department and they are also featuring in the tournament without their key players. Australia's premier pacers Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Josh Hazlewood have been ruled out of the tournament due to either injuries or personal reasons.

“On this surface, yes, because Australia don't seem to have the kind of spinning attack, apart from the fact that they are missing out on key players like Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc, their batting is good. The batting is very aggressive. The ideal thing would be for India maybe to chase, rather than having Australia chase," Gavaskar said to India Today.
