India added one medal to their medals tally on Day 7 at Birmingham Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2022 while assured several in the boxing category. After Murali Sreeshankar won the historic silver in the long jump category, India’s medals tally stands at 19 medals.
While several Indian stars including Hima Das, PV Sindhu, Bajrang Punia and others will be seen in action of Day 8 of CWG 2022, there are no medal events. The most important clash of the day will be in women’s hockey as India take on Australia in the semi-final.
