In the decisive match, India set a target of 240 runs, with substantial contributions from Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, who each scored half-centuries. Captain Rohit Sharma also played a significant role, scoring a quickfire 47 off 31 balls. Despite setting a competitive target, India's bowlers faced an uphill battle in the second innings.
