The ODI World Cup 2023 match between India and Australia was witness to a familiar face from the past, who made an unexpected appearance on the field. The spectator, recognised as Daniel Jarvis, better known by his alias 'Jarvo 69', managed to approach Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli before being escorted off the field by ground staff.

This is not the first time Jarvo has pulled such a stunt. Back in 2021 during India's Test series in England, he brazenly entered the field in two consecutive matches, leading to a ban.

A circulating photo captures a moment where former Indian captain Virat Kohli is seen engaging in a conversation with the notorious cricket enthusiast Jarvo 69.

Jarvo 69, a British YouTuber and prankster, has gained notoriety for his antics of invading cricket pitches and mimicking Indian cricketers. He first made headlines in 2021 when he trespassed onto the Lord’s Cricket Ground during the second Test of the India vs England series. Adorned in an Indian jersey, he feigned being a member of the Indian cricket team until security intervened.

His audacity did not end there. In the subsequent third Test at Headingley Cricket Ground, after the dismissal of opener Rohit Sharma, Jarvo, equipped in full cricket attire, positioned himself at the crease, only to be escorted out once more by security.

Meanwhile, India skipper Rohit Sharma, after losing the toss, said, "The conditions are there for the bowlers and the ball will turn as the game goes on, you need to understand what line and lengths to bowl and adjust accordingly. We played a lot of cricket before that, we played two good series before the warm up games, we have covered all bases. Unfortunately, he (Shubman Gill) didn't recover in time, we waited till today morning and he couldn't recover. Ishan comes in to replace him, he will open the batting."
