Indian young all-rounder Shivam Dube reckoned that Virat Kohli will make a comeback in the T20 World Cup 2024 with three consecutive centuries. The 35-year-old batter has unable to score runs in the marquee event he just scored five runs in three outings and in the recently concluded clash against co-host United States, Kohli got out on a golden duck. This is the first time that Kohli departed on a golden duck.
However, Shivam Dube and Suryakumar Yadav’s 67 runs unbeaten partnership and Arshdeep’s four-fer helped India to outclass the host by seven wickets.
“There is nothing I can say about Virat Kohli because I'm not Virat Kohli. His bad patch means he got out cheaply a couple of times but will come back scoring hundreds in the next three matches. We all know his game and how he plays" Dube told PTI.
India vs Australia Super 8
After winning against the USA, team India have qualified for the Super 8 of the tournament where they will face Australia on June 24 at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St Lucia.
India vs Canada
India will now face Canada in their upcoming T20 World Cup clash which is a dead-rubber match because Canada are already out of the marquee event. India will face Canada on June 15 at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida.
However, there a high chance that the clash will be washed out due to flood alerts in Florida.
