The IPL 2022 mega auctions will take place in Bengaluru, on February 12 and 13.&nbsp;&nbsp;While talking about winning the U-19 World Cup, Dhull said that “it is now past” and he wants to think about “how to move forward.”&nbsp;"Winning the World Cup is now past. I am now thinking about how to move forward. Because I have got a place in Delhi Ranji team and now there is a lot to do ahead,” Dhull explained&nbsp;During the World Cup, Dhull and other players were found to be positive for the Covid-19 virus. While recalling the period, Dhull said that they “were a little nervous at that time" but “the bonding was great and helped us move forward”&nbsp;“When all of us were found to be corona positive, we were a little nervous at that time. But everyone knows that VVS Laxman sir was present with us. He talked to us a lot and kept us mentally strong, which helped us a lot and was always a team player. We stayed connected to each other, so the bonding was great and helped us move forward,” Dhull recalled.&nbsp;

When we were batting together in the final, the thought was to take it deep and then finish it five-seven overs earlier. We were dismissed but Nishant Sindhu played well. Four years later, former Indian cricketer Unmukt Chand achieved the feat with a 111-run knock against Australia in the final while chasing.&nbsp;&nbsp;Dhull came in to bat at no.4 when India were struggling after openers’ departure. From 37/3, Dhull and vice-captain Shaik Rasheed got the innings back on the track. The Delhi-born batter got his half-century from 64 deliveries in the 31st over. He got to the milestone with a boundary.&nbsp;&nbsp;The two set a platform for a big score and then accelerated. Dhull got to his maiden World Cup century with a couple of runs in the 45th over of the innings. He reached his next 50 from 42 deliveries. In the same over, he hit Tom Whitney for 16 runs in five deliveries. The Delhi-born batter scored a brilliant century (110 runs off 110 balls) against Australia in the semi-final to help his side in securing a 96-run victory.&nbsp;&nbsp;In the first match of the world cup the skipper had scored an amazing 82 runs off 100 balls against South Africa. Yash was tested positive for the Covid-19 virus but there was no change in his batting after his recovery.&nbsp;The final matchThe Indian team, led by Yash, will now take on the English team in the final of the ICC U-19 World Cup, on February 5.&nbsp;While talking about India’s chances of winning the World Cup, Yash’s father Vijay Dhull said that “definitely the World Cup will come to India.”&nbsp;“Definitely the World Cup will come to India as the team is performing so well then they deserve it. There is no doubt that the other team has also performed well to get there and the aim is only one. The entire nation is expecting them to do well and why not after all they are doing so well.” Yash Dhull’s father Vijay Dhull was quoted while talking to news agency ANI.&nbsp;Skills and mindsetRegarding his son’s skills and mentality, Vijay said that, “Yash’s cricketing mind is very sharp.”&nbsp;“Yash’s cricketing mind is very sharp and he takes things very seriously. Indian team continued their terrific run in the ICC U-19 World Cup as they sealed a convincing 5-wicket win against Bangladesh to book their berth in the semi final. Batting first, Bangladesh were bundled out for 111, in 37.1 overs.&nbsp;India chased down the target in 31.5 overs with 115 balls remaining. Indian team are scheduled to face Australia in the semi-final stage.&nbsp;India bowled firstWinning the Toss, India’s captain Yash Dhull elected to bowl first on a seam-friendly wicket. Left-arm pacer Ravi Kumar turned out to be the best bowler for the Indian side by picking up three wickets. He dismissed Bangladesh opener Mahfijul Islam on two in the second over of the day. Then, Ravi got rid of Iftakher Hossain on one run followed by Prantik Nabil (7 runs off 19 balls).&nbsp;&nbsp;Bangladesh were reeling at 14/3 at one point but from there Ariful Islam and Aich Mollah stitched a 23-run stand. The Bangla Tigers were later reduced to 56 runs losing 7 wickets. SM Mehroob and Ashiqur Zaman added 50 runs for the eight wicket to avoid an utter humiliation.&nbsp;&nbsp;SM Meherob top scored with 30 off 48 balls and Zaman, on the other hand scored 16 runs off 29 deliveries. Bangladesh tailenders did put up a brave fight after losing quick wickets cheaply and registered a mere total of 111 runs on the board.&nbsp;Ravi bagged 3 wickets conceding 14 runs in seven overs. In reply, the Proteas were bundled out for 167.&nbsp;Sri Lanka’s innings got off to a rocky start and were reeling at 25/3 at one point. The captain, batting at number five, anchored the innings. Wellalage along with Shevon Daniel added 62 runs for the fourth wicket. At 87/4 after 25.3 overs, Ranuda Somarthane walked in to join his skipper and the duo added 130 runs, taking the total beyond 200. Wellalage scored 113 0f 130 balls whereas Somarthane remained unbeaten on 57 of 70 balls.&nbsp;For the Proteas, Kwena Maphaka picked 3/60 and was the pick of the bowlers, Mathew Boast was highly economical with figures of 2/21 in nine overs.The chase never took off for South Africa as they were scoring above the required run rate but frequent dismissals hampered their progress as the Sri Lankan bowlers split the wickets between them.&nbsp;Gerhardus Maree was the top scorer with 44 along with Rohan Herman 34. The PNG scoreboard reminded of a phone number as 10 batters went for single-digit scores. Chasing a target of 201 runs, an all-round bowling performance from the Afghanistan bowlers saw PNG reduced to just 65, with 21 extra runs they were hardly in the game. Earlier, captain Suliman Safi led from the front to score 62 off 76 deliveries to manage the 200-run mark. After showing his superb skills in domestic cricket in his age group, Raj was selected in the Under-19 World Cup team and his terrific show in the World Cup, before the mega IPL auction, can surely help him making an entry in the world's biggest league.&nbsp;After the dismissal of Raghuvanshi, Bawa led the charge and carried forward his splendid batting show. He first completed his century off just 69 balls and then he also went on to reach 150-run mark off 102 balls with a six. Bawa’s innings was comprised of boundaries and 8 sixes.&nbsp;New recordThe left-handed batsman also broke the 17-year-old record of Indian opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan. Bawa became India's highest-scorer in the Under-19 World Cup. Before Bawa’s innings, this record was in the name of Dhawan after he played an innings of 155 runs against Scotland back in 2004.&nbsp;India eventually scored a total of 405 runs losing only 5 wickets in 50 overs.&nbsp;But the Indian bowlers were nothing less than the batsmen as the Indian bowling unit needed just 20 overs to bundle out their opponents. South Africa might have not lifted the Under-19 World Cup trophy but it's young phenom Dewald Brevis, who is considered as the 'Baby AB de Villiers' has grabbed everyone's eyeballs with his splendid batting throughout the tournament. Dewald not only broke Shikhar Dhawan's all-time record by mustering 506 runs in the Under-19 World Cup campaign but was also shortlisted for IPL 2022 mega auction. In an interview, on being asked about his plans for IPL Brevis said," I would love to be in the IPL and learn from top players. The reality is that you can’t choose who to play for in the IPL. It’s always been a dream of mine to play in the IPL." Brevis is often compared to AB de Villiers, who remains one of the most loved cricketers across the globe. Sri Lanka U-19 cricket team’s right-arm fast bowler Vinuja Ranpul took 5 wickets conceding just 10 runs against Afghanistan U-19 cricket team in the ICC U-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2022 but a poor batting display from the Sri Lankan batters helped Afghanistan in securing a 4-run victory and seal their spot for the semi-finals.&nbsp;Sri Lanka’s decision to win the toss and bowl first seemed to be a good choice after, batting first, the Afghanistan team managed to register a mere total of 134 runs losing 10 wickets in 47.1 overs. Only three of the Afghanistan batters- Allah Noor (25 runs off 58 balls), Abdul Hadi (37 runs off 97 balls) and Noor Ahmad (30 runs off 33 balls) - managed to reach the two-digit mark in the innings.&nbsp;Brilliant bowlingRanpul exhibited his terrific bowling skills to dismiss five Afghanistan batters. The 18-year-old pacer got good support from skipper Dunith Wellalage who scalped three wickets in the match. Apart from these two bowlers, Yasiru Rodrigo and Treveen Mathew picked up a wicket each.&nbsp;Sri Lanka’s lethal bowling saw Afghanistan lose their four top-order batsmen for just two runs. Later, Ahmad and Hadi helped their side in recovering from the early danger and reach a mere total of 134 runs.&nbsp;&nbsp;Poor battingIn reply, Sri Lankan batters started the run-chase after they lost seven wickets within just 43 runs. A lack of understanding and communication seemed to be there between the Sri Lankan batters as three (Chamindu Wickramasinghe, Sakuna Liyanage, Yasiru Rodrigo) of their first seven wickets were results of run out. Later, Ranpul also had to be back to the pavilion after he was run out, scoring just 11 runs.&nbsp;A 69-run partnership between Raveen de Silva (21 runs off 84 balls) and skipper Wellalage (34 runs off 61 deliveries), for the eighth wicket, helped Sri Lanka in reach 112 runs. The crucial partnership came to an end after Sri Lanka skipper was dismissed in the 41st over by Afghanistan bowler Nangeyalia Kharote.&nbsp;After that they managed to score 18 more runs and eventually had to concede a four-run defeat.&nbsp;Afghanistan’s Bilal Sami picked up two wickets conceding 33 runs.&nbsp;
