During the World Cup, Dhull and other players were found to be positive for the Covid-19 virus. While recalling the period, Dhull said that they “were a little nervous at that time" but “the bonding was great and helped us move forward”

“When all of us were found to be corona positive, we were a little nervous at that time. But everyone knows that VVS Laxman sir was present with us. He talked to us a lot and kept us mentally strong, which helped us a lot and was always a team player. We stayed connected to each other, so the bonding was great and helped us move forward,” Dhull recalled.
