Nitish Kumar Reddy joins elite list studded with Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag with cinematic century in MCG Test

Young Indian batting all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy bagged a big milestone on Saturday, December 28, joining his idol Virat Kohli in an exclusive club of Indian cricketers. On Day 3 of the Boxing Day Test between India and Australia at the MCG, Reddy scored his maiden Test century to rally India to 358/9 while replying to Australia's 474.

This exceptional feat by the 21-year-old right-handed batter from Andhra Pradesh marked a big moment in his burgeoning career. The Sunrisers Hyderabad star, currently playing his fourth Test match for India, became only the sixth Indian batter to score a century at the MCG in Tests since 2000.
