Hardik Pandya has spent some quality time with his son Agastya ahead of their 3rd IPL 2024 clash.

Mumbai Indians will take on Rajasthan Royals on April 1 at Wankhede Stadium.

Mumbai Indians’ (MI) captain Hardik Pandya recently had a fun time with his son Agastya ahead of the clash against Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 1 at Wankhede Stadium in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Hardik’s captaincy is under pressure as MI have a challenging start to the IPL 2024 with two losses against Gujarat Titans (GT) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

As the team gears up for the 14th match of the season at the Wankhede Stadium, this match could turn out to be a make-or-break for both Hardik and MI. Despite the external noise, Hardik Pandya engaged in a joyful drum session with his son Agastya. They enjoyed music together. The session was captured in a heartwarming video shared on Mumbai Indians’ Instagram. The post has a captain: "Just a little boy having fun with his dad."

Know the reason why MI will be desperate for a win against RR?

The urgency for a victory of MI against RR is palpable as Pandya has not yet passed his captaincy test. His leadership has been met with a lot of noise on and off the field. Even before the beginning of the season, fans weren’t too pleased with Hardik replacing Rohit as captain. MI have won five IPL titles under the leadership of Rohit. During the first clash for MI in Ahmedabad, he was targeted by fans as they expressed their dissatisfaction by booing the MI captain.  The decisions of the all-rounder were also heavily criticised during the SRH clash as his move to hold back Jasprit Bumrah wasn’t appreciated.
