IPL 2024, RCB vs LSG: Faf du Plessis elects to bowl, KL Rahul returns to captain Lucknow Super Giants as both teams make one change each in playing XI

Highlights:

RCB made one change to their playing XI with Reece Topley replacing Alzarri Joseph.

LSG also made one change with Yash Thakur replacing Mohsin Khan.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Faf du Plessis won the all-important toss and elected to field in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 2 (Tuesday). RCB made one change to their playing XI with Reece Topley replacing Alzarri Joseph. LSG also made one change with Yash Thakur replacing Mohsin Khan

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru have played three matches in the tournament so far. Faf du Plessis' men have lost two games while they registered to win in one contest. In their previous match, RCB were comprehensively beaten by the Kolkata Knight Riders.

On the flip side, the Lucknow Super Giants have played two matches in the competition thus far. LSG started their season with a defeat but bounced back to win their second match. In their last match, LSG defeated the Punjab Kings.
