'Behaving Like A Revengeful Aunty': Fans destroy Naveen-ul-Haq with vicious posts after he targets Virat Kohli with 'tasteless' Instagram story

Virat Kohli's lion-hearted effort with the bat went in vain as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowed out of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 after losing the last regular season match against defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT). The former RCB skipper remained unbeaten on 101 runs off 61 balls and helped his team post a defendable total of 197/5 in 20 overs. Kohli's phenomenal century was overshadowed by the incredible Shubman Gill, who also registered back-to-back tons in the IPL and remained unbeaten on 104 not out in 52 balls with the help of five fours and eight sixes.

After the match, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer Naveen-ul-Haq did not miss another opportunity to take a dig at Kohli. The Afghanistan pacer shared a viral video of an anchor, who is seen laughing uncontrollably.

For his 'revengeful' Instagram story, Naveen-ul-Haq was destroyed by fans on social media who came to Kohli's defence and annihilated the Afghanistan pacer.

One fans wrote, "Virat Kohli lives rent free in Naveen Ul Haq's head. Don't think Kohli gives any thought to Naveen, unless he's part of an opposition and pre-match preparation talks. Naveen added this to his Insta story of LSG's win against KKR - about a minute after RCB lost. Tasteless."

Kohli and Naveen were involved in a heated verbal spat when RCB played LSG earlier in the tournament. It became a huge controversy as heavy fines were imposed on both cricketers, including LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir. Since then, the Afghanistan pacer has been constantly taking shots at Kohli by posting cryptic Instagram stories.

The fans were waiting in anticipation at watching another match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore which would have once again put Naveen-ul-Haq and Kohli against each other. If the Bangalore-based franchise had managed to eke out a win against the defending champions on Sunday, they would have faced Lucknow in the crunch Eliminator 1.
