Here are the list of players who will grab the limelight in the upcoming WPL auction which will take place in Bengaluru.
Sneh Rana
India all-rounder Sneh Rana will be one of the most wanted players in the upcoming auction. The 30-year-old was released by her old franchise Gujarat Giants. Rana who failed to make a major impact in WPL picked up 10 wicket haul against South Africa in a Test match in June. Rana picked up six wickets in her 12 WPL outings.
Nandini Kashyap
After earning an Indian call-up to the Harmanpreet-led women's cricket team she will likely be in the limelight during the auction in Bengaluru. She is one of the best performers in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2023. She ended the domestic tournament as the third-highest run-getter. Nandini continued her golden touch by topping the run tally in the Senior Women’s T20 Challenger Trophy, 2024.
Laura Harris
The uncapped right-handed batter from Australia can also be a good pick for any franchise as she has a base price of Rs 10 lakh. She will be the oldest player to go under the hammer in the upcoming auction. She comes with experience of playing in Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL), The Hundred, and the Caribbean Premier League.
She is part of the WBBL two-time champion team Brisbane Heat. This season, she scored 159 runs in 11 innings as the Heat finished runner-up. Her younger sister is already representing UP Warriorz in the ongoing WPL.
Heather Knight
England skipper Heather Knight will also go under the hammer with a base price of 50 lakh and considering her experience she will be one of the much-talked players. She led England to the Women’s ODI World Cup title in 2017. Knight, who also bowls right-arm off-break, has played 12 Tests, 146 ODIs and 126 T20Is for the national side.

She has a base price of Rs 30 lakh. She has played 4 Tests, 32 ODIs and 22 T20Is for the national side and picked a total of 69 wickets. King has played franchise cricket in The Hundred and WBBL.
