Bhawna’s emotional message to Kohli
On her Instagram post, Kohli’s sister wrote,” You gave your best as a captain. You have always held your shoulders high no matter how tough the situation was. You are and will always be a remarkable captain, a name synonym with RCB captaincy. Forever worthy of respect and adulation. Proud of you brother.”

Didn’t want to be dishonest towards my responsibilities

” Firstly workload was the main factor and I did want to be dishonest towards my responsibility. If I cannot give 120% to something, I am not someone who would hold onto something, I am not attached to something like that and that was always very clear in my mind.” RCB’s former skipper Kohli said on Star Sports.

Kohli’s stint as RCB captain
The 32-year batter first became the captain of RCB in 2011 for just a few matches. He completely took the charge in 2013 and managed the side for 8 years. In Kohli’s tenure, RCB played 140 matches out of which they won 66 while suffered 70 losses. 4 games didn’t have any results and had a winning percentage of 48.52.
