Mumbai Indians (MI), the inaugural champions of the Women's Premier League (WPL), bolstered their squad by signing four players in the mini-auction held in Bengaluru on December 15. The Mumbai-based franchise acquired the services of Nadine de Klerk, G Kamalini, Sanskriti Gupta, and Akshita Maheshwari. But the player who turned everyone's heads was G Kamalini. The star Tamil Nadu all-rounder remained MI's most expensive buy in WPL 2025 auction as she hit a jackpot and fetched a staggering Rs 1.60 crore.

The team's core, including captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Amelia Kerr, Hayley Matthews, and Nat Sciver-Brunt, remains intact. As the team aim to defend their WPL title next year, they have certainly formed a formidable squad.
