MS Dhoni never ceases to amaze everyone with his cricketing skills, be it his batting or his glovework. The talismanic Dhoni created history in the Indian Premier League (IPL) showdown between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Chepauk stadium on Wednesday (April 12) as he became the first player in the history of glitzy league to captain a franchise in 200 matches.

On his special match, Dhoni turned back time and pulled off a stunning no-look backhand flick to run out Adam Zampa and reminded everyone of his old cricketing days.

In the last of the RR's innings, Maheesh Theekshana dropped Zampa's dolly of a catch off Tushar Deshpande's ball at short fine-leg. After dropping Zampa's catch Theekshana threw the ball towards Dhoni. Dhoni did exactly what he is famously known for which left the fans awestruck. The CSK skipper collected the ball and pulled off one of his special moves as he perfectly executed his no-look backhand flick to give Zampa his marching orders.

Talking about the match, Sanju Samson's RR posted 175/8 in their stipulated 20 overs after CSK won the flip of the coin and elected to bat first. Buttler smashed 52 off 36 balls while Devdutt Padikkal scored 38 off 26 balls to help RR post a competitive total.

However, in the run chase Dhoni's exploits (32 off 17) went in vain as CSK lost the match by six wickets. Ravindra Jadeja (25 off 15) and Devon Conway (50) too chipped in with instrumental knock but to only see CSK going down to the former champions RR.
