Delhi Capitals have roped in Bangladesh's star pacer Mustafizur Rahman for the remainder of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, which is set to resume on May 17 after getting suspended for a week amidst escalated tensions between India and Pakistan.
Mustafizur Rahman replaces Jake Fraser McGurk in DC squad
The former CSK's star Mustafizur Rahman has been signed as the replacement for Jake Fraser McGurk, who pulled out of the rest of IPL 2025. The young batter, who was signed by DC for Rs 9 crore, struggled with the bat in the six matches he featured for the Delhi-based franchise where he could only score 55 runs.
Meanwhile, Rahman has been brought in for Rs 6 crore, thus became the most expensive Bangladeshi player in IPL history.
