Rising Indian all-rounder Ramandeep Singh recently made his International debut for India in the 3rd T20I against South Africa at the SuperSport Park in Centurion on November 13. The 27-year-old gained notoriety for his spectacular knocks during the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL 2024 championship run.

In an exclusive conversation with Sports Tak, Ramandeep Singh talked about his debut and getting his cap from Hardik Pandya.

"I remember my debut. Hardik Pandya gave me the cap. In such a situation, I remembered my entire journey. By God's grace, I got a chance to represent my country. In such a situation, this is a big thing for me. When Surya Bhai asked me from whom you want the cap, I took the name of Hardik only," Ramandeep Singh said to Sports Tak.

and talked about how he would like to make an impact like Andre Russell.

"I like Andre Russell very much. Whenever he plays, he makes an impact and makes a name for himself. I also like to make an impact like that," said Ramandeep to Sports Tak.
