How have PBKS fared in IPL 2025 so far?

Punjab Kings are still in pursuit of their first IPL title. Their closest brush with victory came in IPL 2014, where they were defeated by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the final.  Since then, the team has not managed to secure a top-four finish.  In the previous season, despite some key wins fueled by impressive performances from young players like Ashutosh Sharma, Shashank Singh, and Prabhsimran Singh, they finished ninth in the points table with five wins and nine losses.  However, the team did make history last season with a record-breaking run chase against their rivals, KKR. This feat surpassed South Africa's record for the highest successful run chase in T20 history.
